His height with his leaping ability enables him to contest shots and to get rebounds on the offensive and defensive glass. Moreover this makes any opposition fear coming into the paint.

Yafiu started his basketball career from Iskandhar School. He is the ultimate example that hard work is the key to success as he polished his skills playing pick up games on the outdoor court. Constantly among the best five players of all the tournaments, yafiu is one of the most important players of the team. Furthermore he was selected among the best 5 players in the recent NBL Division 2 along with 3 man of the match awards.
