Always known for keeping his cool and composue in tough situations, Uvaish has made a name for himself in the Maldivian basketball scene as a pure point guard. His unorthodox playing style along with his high motor and drive to motivate himself along with his teammates makes him a valuable player for any team.

Uvaish completed his studies from Ghaazee School where he captained his team to numerous glories along with consecutive individual accolades such as Best 5 and Dream Team in almost all the tournaments. 

Uwaish started his club career from Stingers BC and then moved onto Youth SC where he won the Runners Up of the Second division in 2019.
